Sep. 25th, 2003 08:33 amI don't care what those apartment fuckers say! The new Barnes and Noble opened here and I'm going to spend my damn money on books even though I don't HAVE any damn money because they seem to think I have enough to pay for my damn rent TWICE!
OK....so actually I do have enough to cover the whole rent fiasco, it just really pisses me off (obviously) that I'm having to pay twice and if I do have extra there's other things I'd like to be doing with it...like maybe pay off my car loan early. (Or buying more books at B&N!) Or...you know, just making payments on things where I will only have to pay them ONCE like a normal frickin' person!
I paid my rent in cash because I always had the cash (from tip money) and I didn't feel like buying more checks because I knew I wouldn't have that address much longer and then I'd just have a bunch of checks with the wrong address on them. Screw that though. From now on, I'm paying EVERYTHING with a check. It's like a built in receipt. Just don't throw out any checkbooks (unless the last check was written like 5 years ago, then it MIGHT be OK...obviously one year is not because some 'tards wait that long before they tell you that you supposedly owe them money)
Oops! But I didn't want to bitch about this anymore. Hmm...sooooo I'm going to B&N! Yay! Only problem is...me and my silly not sleeping so I was up at about 6 in the a.m. and I have to wait for the store to even OPEN! Sigh....maybe I should start thinking of things to look for there.
