I had an interview at the casino yesterday. They said they get back to you generally within 48 hours so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoping they'll call back today. It's also a big place and they see a LOT of people and basically I'm pretty sure someone called from there about one of the other positions I applied for but no one was home so they didn't leave a message or anything, so I honestly could see if I'm not home they just say "Oh well, we have tons of back-ups, move on down the list and hire someone else." I REALLY need this job (any job!)
So that's why I planned to basically stick around here as much as possible. So a nice boring day like this should start out with sleeping in until at least 10, maybe 11, correct? Um yeah, so why the hell am I up at 4:45 in the a.m. instead? And after not getting to sleep until about 2:30. Fabulous.
What to do? It's 10:00 and I'm running out of options...
