May. 13th, 2003 08:21 amgrr....I don't think I was meant to drive a vehicle. At least not a nice one!
Do you want to hear my latest car story? Shush, of course you do :P So...I work with a bunch of morons. (that's just a fact, not part of the actual story.) Anyway, I'm always coming out to find new spots on my car that have been scraped past that rub off...or sometimes that DON'T rub off, but some day I'll pick up some touch-up paint like I mean to and fix those.
But then YESTERDAY after work I come out, actually don't notice then, come home and discover that someone side-swiped the passenger side front panel of my car! There are a few big gouges with some nice chunks of paint missing as well as dents to the body. AND it looks like they clipped part of the wheel well also. That part looks terrible...possibly what pissed me off the most. And what am I supposed to do? Yes, I have full coverage insurance (thanks for that at least!) But this will probably cost a decent amount to fix. And I KNOW whoever did it has to work in the casino, a night shift on Sundays in fact. Problem is there's at least a few hundred employees there (probably around 500-600) on any given night. So what do I do? Check EVERY car in the lot? See which one has an over-abundance of red paint on one side?
Seriously, I wish I could just catch ONE person in the act...because then I could blame all the damage on them :P I'm just pissed because this is the first time I've had a pretty new car with no previous damage and I don't know why mine has to be a target in that damn parking lot. It's bright frickin' red too, so it's not like I'm going to accept an excuse like they didn't see it.
